Second post in a week? What a slacker.

So yeah, I was up until about 4 this morning doing homework. Gotta love how my computer science class requires you to typeset your homework in LaTeX, which essentially means that you have to solve it on paper, then re-copy it. So that took about 6 hours. I should probably check it over, but in all likelihood that’s not going to happen.

So, there are a couple things I’d like to get done either before or during spring break as far as software is concerned. First, I think I might have figured out a way to cross-post this piece to Xanga (yes, that would mean that this posts to three places at once. Yes, I’m a nerd. I’m completely aware) which would mean that pretty much everybody who reads and/or has a Xanga or LJ account could read this, which I think would be pretty cool. Second, I found this great little app called RecentTunes that uploads recently played track information to the web and I’d like to write something that combines the information that gives me with Amazon’s web services to create something that grabs album art for recently-played albums on the fly or something. I don’t think it would be that hard as long as my MP3s were tagged thoroughly enough. Third, I want some of these photos back online in some visually good-looking way. So I’ve got some ideas.

If anybody is down on the week of the 21st and wants to do something, drop me an e-mail. You can find all that contact information crap on the contact page (of my website, for you off-site readers).

So my aunt is apparently flying down to visit over break. She arrives at the same airport at the exact same time that my plane arrives. Got to hand it to my dad, he and precision are buddies.

So, midterms didn’t go too terribly overall. CS had its way with me, but it was kind of expected (why, CS 70, why must you destroy my life?!) The others went OK. I get my English midterm back today … but that’s the only reason I’m actually going to lecture (woo pass/fail!). One good thing out of that class, though, is that I’ve discovered that the Daily Cal has a crossword puzzle. I’ve also discovered I’m not very good at crossword puzzles.

That’s about it, I suppose. If anything happens with Xanga synchronizing, you’ll know about it.
